The opportunity

Unity Engine is used by millions of creators around the world to build powerful and engaging real-time experiences. At the heart of this is graphics, from the initial point of content creation down to the final pixels on the target device.

The Render Pipeline group is on to build the world's most scalable and extensible render pipeline. Our graphics engineers work on the Universal Render Pipeline that supports all Unity platforms, on the High Definition Render Pipeline that offers the best visual quality on the high end platforms, and on the foundational Scriptable Render Pipeline APIs in the Unity engine.

We are looking for an experienced software engineer to evolve our automated graphics test framework with the goal of efficiently testing the render pipelines across all platforms and devices that Unity supports. Additionally, this engineer will design and implement graphics debug tools that are integrated in the Unity editor and allow our team and our users to develop graphics features more efficiently. In your role, you will increase the stability of rendering on the billions of devices that run Unity games!

What you'll be doing

Drive automated test design discussions with the broader team, playing an influential role in test architecture decisions
Design and implement new features in our automated Graphics tests framework to enable full automated graphics test coverage that makes efficient use of runtime resources in our pool of test devices (test infrastructure)
Work with the Automation team to deploy automated test projects that make use of the test framework on our test infrastructure
Design and implement graphics debugs tools inside of the Unity engine
What we're looking for

Profil(s) recherché(s)

Experienced in creating tools for developers to increase efficiency
Knowledge about RT3D graphics and how to test graphics features
Applied various Graphics testing methodologies to measure and enhance product quality
Proficiency developing in C#
Excellent collaboration and communication skills
You might also have

Experienced in creating tools for graphics test automation
Experience developing graphics features and experience with C++
Experience working in diverse & distributed team and testing games/simulations in Unity or similar software
