Team

Voodoo Ad-Network is an autonomous product of around 30 people that carries the ambitious mission of providing ad network services. One goal is to leverage Voodoo's first-party data to improve Voodoo's monetisation. Moreover, the product is growing through new ventures like opening up to external inventory, reaching the external-advertisers market and social-network monetisation through BeReal's recent acquisition. Thanks to promising results, our ambition is now to scale up the team to support growth.
The product is composed of top-tier software engineers, infrastructure engineers, data engineers, mobile engineers, and data scientists.
The Models team is a core element of the targeting performance. It leverages machine learning and a strong business understanding to directly impact the product's financial performance. It's composed of mostly senior Data Analysts, Analytics Engineers, Data Engineers and Data Scientists/ML Engineers who iterate together on finding and building the next performing iteration.

 

Role

  • Work on end-to-end data projects with the Ad Network squads to improve performance and drive targeting and revenue improvements.

  • Gather needs from stakeholders, share progress with product managers and data scientists and provide them with actionable recommendations.

  • Build data collection and transformation pipelines, and actionable dashboards.

  • Analyze large, complex data sets with billions of events representing the behaviour of mobile game players and of our ad network to address strategic and operational business questions.

  • Design solutions from scratch, iterate quickly, create POCs, and deploy to production rapidly.

  • Occasionally leverage Python skills and Statistics skills to improve the targeting product with your business insights.

 

Profile

  • You possess substantial experience in analytical roles, ideally within a web or mobile company or the tech or ad tech industry.

  • You are highly skilled in SQL and have a proven track record of building production-ready pipelines that handle large and complex data sets.

  • You have solid experience in ETL development. Experience in DBT will be valued.

  • You have practical experience with Tableau or another standard dashboard platform, and can create dashboards that are shared company-wide, facilitating data-driven decision-making across departments.

  • A BA/B.Sc degree in Statistics, Math, Engineering, Economy, or other quantitative fields is mandatory for this role.

  • Advanced knowledge of statistical tools and models will be considered a significant advantage.

  • Development skills, particularly in Python, will be considered a significant advantage

  • You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are able to balance the tradeoff between time-consuming development and rapid results.
